December 2009: Corporate Day with clients at The Stoop forHarlequins v London Irish. On 31 October 2009, reesmarx europe entertained clients in the Legends Lounge at the The Stoop, Twickenham for the game between Harlequins and London Irish. It was a great afternoon, helped by some of the England contingent being present. The game itself was rather error strewn but by the end of the evening everyone had forgotten about the rugby. Our clients seem to thoroughly enjoy the day and we look forward to returning for the Worcester game.

January 2009: Despite the vulnerability of the US Market, reesmarx usa is growing. According to Ray Tomasco, Managing Partner, reesmarx usa, “the out look for 2009 is positive and reesmarx usa is planning to expand services as a response to our client’s demands”. Assisting European Clients in their US expansion has proven to be a viable and exciting venture for reesmarx. The initial primary focus of reesmarx usa has been Executive Search. In an effort to meet our client's growth plans, reesmarx usa is extending the portfolio of services to include all levels of personnel placement. To service our clients, reesmarx usa will expand their Charlotte office and utilize the resources and expertise already in place within reesmarx europe.
January 2009: Due to growth in their interim and permanent business, reesmarx europe continue to expand with further offices in USA and Europe. Glyn Rees, Managing Partner Europe, said ‘The high technology sector in Europe has slowed for Sales/Marketing/Professional Services personnel with many of the large players but the small to medium sized businesses are still looking for quality personnel. It is interesting that clients who are serious about recruitment are ‘partnering’ with us, whereas those that are not fully committed to hiring are using the contingency method, which is far less effective due to wasted management time and far more costly in the long run.
